Trip to PA-LOH.

Pre-U Public Speaking Competition Participants and MC. The green uniforms are the nicest after all. Majulah green skirts!

Yeap, we headed to Paloh on Saturday morning.

Catherine was asked to be the MC, and myself, the “reserve”.

Funny having a reserve right?
That was because on Thursday the girl who was going to represent school, Renuka, had some breathing problem.

Well, Cat and I were crazily helping Renuka (Miss Chang asked us to help her out!) by finding out information, concrete examples… And ended up writing one of the speeches for her.

Crazily in a way because it was so last minute, it was such a rush!

Long story short, Renuka had to remember 3 topics:

1. Education today should focus on producing creative individuals.
2. Sustainable development is a shared responsibility.
3. A peaceful multiracial society integrates Nation Building.

But only present one speech.
She got the third topic, a.k.a. the one Cat and I wrote.

And she WON!

On the way back from Paloh, we stopped to take a photo. I mean, photos Ali Ahmad (the male) tagged along with us back to Kluang. Lower 6 student in my school.
